Behind The Gates

The Framework:

You have the choice of square tubing or round pipe for the frame of the gate. We use a 2” SCH40 on the hinge side and 2” SCH10 the rest of the way around with 1” or 1/2” uprights.

Every gate is made to order.

The Artwork:

All of our artwork is cut out of 3/16” plate, which makes it thicker and stronger against the elements. From a custom art scene to a family brand or silhouette of Texas all of art is designed based on your desires.

No art is cut until you say it’s perfect!

The paint:

A custom gate is an investment that is why we want to make sure it will last for many years to come. We paint our gates in a gloss black PPG Industrial paint that requires a 2-step process and is sprayed on by our painter. We do offer powercoat for an up-charge.

Want a custom color? No Problem, we can match it!

The Installation:

Adding to the ease of the process we offer full install so that you don’t have to do it or find someone too! We hang our gates off of 6” posts that have footers in the ground and are also set in concrete. We hang the gates using weld on 7” grease-able hinges.

GATE AUTOMATION

Ready to automate one more thing in your life? We’ve got you covered! To make things even simpler we offer gate automation with the best operator brand – LiftMaster. With the operator you have a choice of solar or electric + the included bells and whistles that come with the system. Every operator includes the machine, battery, *solar panel, key pad, keypad stand, exit probe and 2 remotes + manufacturer’s warranty with a 30 day labor warranty on the install of it.

*Solar panel only if customer chooses solar option. If you choose an electric operator, you must have power within 5′ of the gate.*

MASONRY

As we say, it’s all in the details! Stone columns are the perfect addition to add to your entrance and we can do it! Whether it’s 2 columns or 10, anything is possible. Our standard stone column is 24”X24”X72”and includes your choice of stone, so yes we can match the house. The options don’t stop with the columns we can do larger columns, stone walls, concrete pads for slide gates to name a few.

FENCING

Would you like to frame your driveway up to the gate or would you like to fence the entire property? We offer fencing of almost every style. 3-rail, 4-rail, Top-rail with cable run, Twisted Pipe Barbwire, Hog Panel fence, Iron Fencing, and any combination you can think of!

Fencing is priced by the foot and varies based on the style and material costs.

LIGHTING

We don’t want to leave you stuck in the dark! That is why we offer lighting options to add on to your entrance. From decorative lights on top of the columns to custom canister lights on the front of them we want to make sure you can see when you drive up.

Custom lighting can vary by lighting choice and may require you to have electricity at gate location. *Please inquire for estimate.

 Next, we draw it all up and use CAD to make sure that we have all the sizes perfect. Then, the magic happens in the shop with fabrication of the gate, cutting the artwork and painting.

 Fencing or stone work will go in first to set the area, followed by the gate. If we are doing only the gate, we typically install in one day, starting with setting the posts and then hanging the gate. Then, the install of the operator.
